To become a member, individuals must join their Spond group, fill out a membership form, and pay the fee. Players do not need to be members to participate; their first event is free, and subsequent events are charged per-event. Session costs vary from £2 to £7.50, and the club has a policy to offer free sessions if affordability is an issue. Curveballs members always receive a cheaper rate. Equipment such as spare rackets and balls are normally available, and while coaching tips are offered during games, sessions are primarily socially focused. Private sessions can be arranged with member coaches. All events and member communications are managed through Spond, a free app (also accessible via web app) where members can see and sign up for events.
