The University of Edinburgh Tennis Club, also known as Edinburgh University Lawn Tennis Club (EULTC), is dedicated to promoting tennis and making it fun, exciting, and accessible for all students. The club runs a weekly coaching programme that caters to all abilities, from beginners to performance athletes, including social tennis, cardio tennis, club night, team training, club coaching (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced), strength and conditioning, matchplay practice, and integrated training with the EoS County Programme. In addition to coaching, the club provides opportunities for regular competitive tennis, such as internal box leagues, timed tennis, mixed doubles tournaments, and Club Championships. Members also have opportunities to play other Scottish Universities. The club has multiple teams that compete in the BUCS leagues: five men's and four women's teams are mentioned in one part of the text, while another mentions six men's and three women's teams, along with men's and women's Development teams. Students can gain professional qualifications, including UKCC Level One, coaching qualifications, refereeing qualifications, court official training, and safeguarding in sport. Additional 'top-up' memberships are available for Development Teams and BUCS Teams, ranging from £45.00 to £109.00. Refunds for club membership can only be processed by the club in cash or cheque at their discretion, while the Sports Union Membership and transaction fees are non-refundable. Financial assistance may be available through the University's Participation Grant and other hardship funds.
