Craig McBride is an Edinburgh native and a passionate padel coach accredited by PadelMBA. He first started playing padel in 2016 and, after completing an LTA padel coaching course, he spent the first half of 2023 in Malaga, Spain, to immerse himself in padel culture and complete his Certified Padel Coach qualification. Craig specializes in introducing new players to the sport and offers both individual and group coaching sessions at various venues in Scotland, including Golf It! Glasgow, Hatton, David Lloyd Edinburgh Shawfair, and Game4Padel at Thistle Padel, Colinton, and Edinburgh Park.

Craig McBride is an Edinburgh native and an accredited PadelMBA coach and GetInPadel Coach, also serving as the Head Padel Coach at Golf It! Glasgow. He has been playing padel since 2016 when Hatton Sports Club installed one of Scotland's first courts. In 2022, he completed the first LTA padel coaching course in Scotland. The first half of 2023 was spent in Malaga, Spain, a padel hotbed, where he immersed himself in Spanish padel culture, trained with high-level players, and completed the Certified Padel Coach course through PadelMBA. His mission is to bring this Spanish padel culture to Scotland, and he even plans to run sessions in Spanish. Craig offers group and individual coaching to players of all levels and athletic backgrounds, with a particular focus on introducing newcomers to the sport, emphasizing its accessibility and social interaction. Coaching is available at Hatton Sports Club, David Lloyd Edinburgh Shawfair, and Game4Padel locations at Thistle Padel, Colinton, Edinburgh Park, and Golf It! Glasgow. Craig can provide expert knowledge of padel, personalized coaching to develop individual skills and game plans, and fun, engaging sessions. He also organizes padel events and tournaments, notably leading the annual Padethon charity event at Hatton Sports Club, which in August 2023 introduced dozens of new players to padel and raised over £6,000 for Alzheimer's Scotland. Before specializing in padel, Craig grew up playing tennis and football, and in recent years has enjoyed running and cycling. He also lived in Vietnam for four years teaching English.
