It is conveniently situated within a 5-minute walk from Waverley Station and the main bus routes. The studio was established in 2012 by its founders, who transformed the old Scottish Poetry Library into a modern workspace. The name 'Evergreen' draws inspiration from the radical magazine produced by Patrick Geddes. This welcoming coworking space is on the ground floor, making it wheelchair accessible. It offers large workstations for rent that are dedicated to members, in a quiet shared environment limited to 8 desks. These desks are notably spacious, comfortably accommodating up to three screens, and can be personalized. The studio benefits from excellent natural light. Evergreen Studio fosters a friendly and supportive coworking community comprised of members from various creative fields, including architecture, urban landscape architecture, filmmaking, photography, graphic design, web development, science, education, an illustrator, a public affairs consultancy, and a theatre production company.
