Evergreen Studio is a creative coworking studio located in the heart of Edinburgh's old town in Tweeddale Court (EH1), just off the Royal Mile and 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station and the main bus routes. Its members come from a variety of creative disciplines including architecture, urban landscape architecture, film making, photography, graphic design, web development, science and education. The studio is proud of its friendly and supportive coworking community, with members regularly sharing resources, ideas, biscuits and banter. As an Evergreen member, you will not only enjoy their small vibrant community, but also discounts in local cafés for lunch and the occasional joint drink after work. The coworking workspace studio offers large workstations for rent that are dedicated to the member in a quiet shared workspace that is limited to 8 desks. Members enjoy superfast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen complete with Aeropress and French cafetière, as well as free tea, coffee and milk, and shared bathroom facilities. The inclusive desk rental price also covers the use of A3 colour printers, A4 scanners, an A1 drawer and shelf space and the provision of a registered Edinburgh business address. Members also enjoy free use of the bookable meeting room. The coworking space is wheelchair accessible as it is on the ground floor. Independently run, Evergreen Studio was established in 2012 by its founders who converted the old Scottish Poetry Library into a cool and modern workspace. The name 'Evergreen' was inspired by the radical magazine produced by Patrick Geddes (1854 – 1932), a Scottish sociologist and polymath. Today, the vibrant and friendly space is home to freelancers, startups and SMEs looking for a desk to rent in central Edinburgh. The creative coworking studio is located in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town in Tweeddale Court (EH1), just off the Royal Mile. The members of the diverse community work in a wide range of creative disciplines including an illustrator, a filmmaker, an architect, a web developer, a photographer, two graphic designers, a theatre production company and a public affairs consultancy. They encourage collaborations and believe in a sense of community, where they share and pool resources. Tours are only available by inquiring through their e-mail and arranged based on desk availability and suitability for their small community. Evergreen Studio provides very large desks that will comfortably accommodate 3 screens and can be personalised, and a space that offers great natural light. Community is at the core of the co-working studio, evidenced by shoutouts of members’ successes on its social media platforms. Members love to get together from time to time for lunch or post-work drinks in the large range of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, many offering discounts to members. In warmer months, the outdoor terrace may be preferred and is a great spot for a BBQ. The commercial property is very easy to find – it is just off the Royal Mile and a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station. Evergreen Studio is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-7 pm, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays, with 24/7 access available for members. Pricing for a monthly dedicated workstation in an open space is GBP £220 (excluding VAT), with daily hot desk prices available on request. Subscription terms require a 2-month deposit, 2 months' notice, and are without commitment. A KBIS and the signatory's identity document are essential for subscription.
