About
If you're wandering through Stockbridge, you can't miss The Grange Club — a proper Edinburgh institution that’s been quietly evolving behind its handsome red-brick frontage. Step through the gates and you’ll find a hub buzzing with activity: tennis and padel under gleaming new domes (opened December 2024), squash balls thwacking on five immaculate courts, and the distant crack of a cricket bat from one of Scotland’s oldest clubs (est. 1832). The recent million-pound makeover added two indoor tennis courts and two covered padel courts, meaning you can play year-round regardless of the dreich weather. Non-members can book the outdoor tennis courts and the new covered courts via ClubSpark (pay-and-play, no strings attached), and if you fancy a post-match debrief, the fully licensed bar is the perfect spot to refuel. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, the community vibe here is genuine — and with over 650 adult members and thriving junior sections, there's always someone to rally with.
