Hotel du Vin Edinburgh is a luxury boutique hotel located at 11 Bristo Place, Edinburgh EH1 1EZ, in the heart of the city's historic Old Town. The building was originally constructed in 1743 and has a remarkable history, having served as a poorhouse, an asylum, and a science laboratory before being transformed into a stunning hotel. It is a historic building and is wheelchair accessible. The hotel offers 47 individually styled rooms and suites, each meticulously designed with custom-made sleigh beds, hand-sprung mattresses, soft Egyptian cotton linens, plush towels and robes. Many rooms feature a monsoon shower and an in-room roll top bath. Room types include Classic Double, Deluxe Double, Junior Suite, Suite, and Signature Suite. All rooms include a Plasma TV, Egyptian linen, luxury private bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, safe, telephone, flatscreen TV, complimentary toiletries, and hairdryer.
