If you're walking down Leith Walk and spot number 378, you've found what was once Marpole Retreats — a bright, multi-purpose space that blended fitness, coworking, and events under one roof. The event room was a real stunner, with emerald green chairs, round wooden tables, and a huge tropical mural that made every workshop feel special. There was a yoga room for morning flow, a quiet therapy space, and a coworking area ideal for remote workers. Sadly, Marpole has closed its doors permanently — a real loss for the Leith community, but worth remembering for the vibrant, welcoming energy it brought to the neighbourhood.

Marpole Retreats was a multi-purpose venue located at 378 Leith Walk, Edinburgh, EH7 4PE, in the Leith area. The venue was operated by Marie Fryman and was listed as a Tagvenue Partner. It offered several bookable spaces including an Event Space, Coworking Area, Yoga Room, and Therapy Room. The Event Space was a private room within a fitness studio, seating up to 24 people (boardroom, cabaret, U-shaped, classroom, and standing layouts). It was available for hire from £45 per hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours, open daily from 06:30 to 20:00. The room featured green upholstered chairs, round wooden tables, and a large tropical mural backdrop. Facilities included Wi-Fi, a flatscreen TV, PA system / speakers, natural light, backdrops, and paid parking nearby.
